Eco-Friendly Fine Art

They say a picture is worth a thousand words and that's the method you'll find at Schimmel Art. Sandhi Schimmel Gold's work is now collected world-wide by private and corporate collectors, in museums and notable galleries, ‒ as well as hospitality and healthcare facilities. Headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona, her art is totally green; meticulously and expertly hand-crafted.

Only a small number of pieces can be produced in a year. Her medium is up-cycled paper that might otherwise go to waste, each made from thousands of unrelated images and text. Assembled like a mosaic, an entirely new portrait, landscape or fantasy image is created from Sandhi's imagination. She has a natural affinity for color.

Sandhi attended fine art school and studied mosaic work abroad. Her interest in design, fashion, art and history led her to invent a completely unique art form. Her art grew intricate in construction, innovative in style, inventive in technique, inspiring to own. Think gorgeous, groovy and green!

Sandhi’s work was featured in several national publications including Interior Design and Martha Stewart magazines. Plus television, ‒ including an appearance on Access Hollywood.

From the Schimmel Art website, choose from available portraits, landscapes, graphics, floral, or abstract. You may also contact her with your custom needs, color consultation, and more. Only seven custom orders per year are possible.

Best of all, know that Sandhi’s artwork is free of toxic chemicals or adhesives. See the events page for exhibits from Arizona to LA, workshop opportunities, and to schedule a studio tour.
